Rosters
- Rosters must be listed under USA Hockey and approved by CPHL's Board of Directors.
- Rosters can carry up to 30 players, but only 18 skaters and 2 goalies may dress for a game.
- Coaches must hold USA Hockey registration and be added to the roster.
- Coaches and anyone who will have contact with players must complete the CAHA background check.
After tryouts and team selection, send your roster to Commissioner Ralph Bammert on the league's roster template. Ask the Commissioner for the current version.
Districting
CPHL follows the same districting used for the CHSAA winter season.
- If a player's school has a CPHL team, the player must play for that team.
- If not, the player must play for the next-closest school with a CPHL team.
- Exceptions require approval from CPHL's Board of Directors and both head coaches.
- If a player's eligibility is challenged, the board may ask the coach for a copy of the student's school ID.
- A team that plays an out-of-boundary or ineligible player forfeits every game that player took part in.
