Team Information

Information about CPHL team rosters:

• Rosters need to be listed under USA Hockey and approved by the CPHL Board of Directors.
• Rosters can be made up of 30 players but only 18 skaters and 2 goalies can dress for games.
• The CPHL follows the same districting of players that we use for the Winter CHSAA (Colorado High School Athletic Association.
• If a district and/or school has a CPHL team, Players MUST play for the district and/or school CPHL team.
• If a district and/or school does not have a CPHL team, the player MUST play for the district and/or school that is the next closest in geographic area with a CPHL team.
• When you are done with your tryouts / team selection you need to send your rosters to League President Ralph Bammert with:
  • Player first name and last name
  • USA Hockey registration numbers
  • Name of the School District
  • Name of High School player attends
• If a player on a roster is questioned or challenged, the CPHL Board of Directors may request the coach of the team to provide a copy of the student's school ID. If a team plays a game with an out of district and/or ineligible player the team will forfeit the games the player took part in.
• Exceptions to the districting policy must be approved by the CPHL Board of Directors and approval of both head coaches.
• Coaches also need to have USA hockey registration and be added to the roster.
• Coaches and anyone that will have contact with players needs to go thru the background check with CAHA.
• 2025-2026 New Team Membership Registration is closed.
