Team Manager Responsibilities

 What do you need to include for the managers book?

• Official USA Hockey Roster
• USA Hockey - Consent to Treat (attached) Players and coaches
• USA Hockey - Code of Conduct (attached) Players and coaches

What do you need for the roster? 

• USA Hockey registration numbers for players and coaches
• Player first name and last name
• Name of the School District
• Name of High School player attend

Do you need birth certificates?

• No - the rosters are all done online and USA hockey keeps this information from year to year. If the roster does not have a roster on file then the league request for a birth certificate and it will be placed in the players file.

How do you submit everything to the league?

• You can send the Official roster (which includes USA hockey Registration #'s for players and coaches) and a spreadsheet with the players First and Last name, Name of High School the student attends and Name of School District to the league President Ralph Bammert The league does not need to see the consent to treat and code of conduct. If an emergency happens then the team will need to be able to present documents.

All Managers must be registered with USA Hockey for the current season

A current background screening is required.  Screenings are good for 2 years.  You can check if your screening is up to date in your portal on the USA Hockey website.

This is a yearly requirement.  After the initial course is completed, the following 2 years will be a "refresher" then the full course must be repeated
